Weirdo Dressed as Clown Scares Pokémon Go Players
Since its release last month, Pokémon Go has caused some pretty weird shit. It’s led people to stumble across dead bodies and into drug deal mix-ups, and players have been stabbed, fallen off cliffs, and crashed their cars.
Now, some southwest Florida residents have decided that they’ve become so sick and tired of seeing people play a game that encourages travel and social interaction (things that video games are often criticized for not including), they’ve created their own brilliant scheme to scare anyone unlucky enough to be hunting for Pokémon in their area.
Long story short, there’s a guy in the area who dresses up as a clown called Wrinkles and gets paid to scare people. This is Florida, after all. And apparently, some people have now hired him to scare the crap out of Pokémon Go players. Have a look at the resident weirdo in action behind Pidgeotto:
And if you’re thinking of hiring Wrinkles to scare that teacher who used to embarrass you in front of the class, keep in mind that his services don’t come cheap. He usually charges in the area of several hundred dollars, so you’d better start saving.
