The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Gets a Game of the Year Edition Release Date

If you’re like me, then you’ve been waiting for this moment to come since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced. I absolutely love these games and have played through the entirety of each part of the series multiple times. I’m the kind of guy that will play through The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings just to see how it affects The Witcher 3.

Hell, I’m even excited for Gwent! What I do not love is having to start all over again because a DLC added a piece of gear that I missed and absolutely MUST COLLECT IT!

So Game of the Year editions are great for me, since I am absolutely sure that I will able to get all of the stuff without missing anything. I figured that I would wait maybe a few months for the full collection before diving fully into The Witcher 3. I did not account for it taking a year and a half. It’s not a bad thing since in that time, CD Projekt Red has released a plethora of free content and two excellent expansions in the forms of Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition promises to be the definitive version, including every single costume, weapon, alternate Gwent card, and honest to goodness content pack released. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition will be available August 30th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
