All crime was once again legalized in this summer’s The Purge: Election Year (review), and if you missed it on the big screen, you’ll be happy to know that the franchise’s third installment is already headed home in just over a month. On October 4th, the film will get a standalone release and will be included in a special Purge 3-pack.

The Purge: Election Year Blu-ray/DVD/Digital HD combo pack will include deleted scenes and two featurettes: “Inside The Purge” and “Character Spotlight: Leo.”

Below you’ll find the home video trailer and the art for both releases from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment!

Synopsis:
It’s been two years since Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) stopped himself from a regrettable act of revenge on Purge Night. Now serving as head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), his mission is to protect her in a run for President and survive the annual ritual that targets the poor and innocent. But when a betrayal forces them onto the streets of D.C. on the one night when no help is available, they must stay alive until dawn… or both be sacrificed for their sins against the state.
