The Horror TV Outlook for Fall 2016: 11 Returning Champs, 8 New Contenders, and 3 Swan Songs
We have exactly one month of summer left, which means the fall TV season will be kicking off soon… hell, I suppose it already has given the end of the Olympics and the return of “Fear the Walking Dead” last night.
So, as the days begin to get shorter and the nights longer, what will YOU be watching on your small screens — or, if you’re lucky, your 65″ 4K LED Smart HDTVs with killer 7.1 surround sound systems? What do you deem worthy of your time, loyalty, and tech? And how do you decide which of the new crop to give a shot?
We’ve compiled a list of 22 current horror TV shows that are returning, debuting, or getting ready for their final seasons over the coming days and weeks leading up to Halloween and the early holiday season. Most you know well, but a few you might not have heard much about. It’s tough for the newcomers to get attention, what with all the different platforms to choose from, so we’ve included some streaming and upstart options as well as the typical broadcast and cable networks.
