Stranger Things Season 2 Is Confirmed!
Although we were pretty sure Netflix was going to give us a second season of “Stranger Things,” nothing was confirmed until today, when the streaming network announced via video that Season 2 is indeed on its way. Let the celebration begin!
THR filled in a few more details: Nine new episodes, one more than the show’s eight-episode first season, will air in 2017, with writers/creators Matt and Ross Duffer returning and 21 Laps producing. Executive producers Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and the Duffer brothers are all still on board as well.
