We don’t know much about Netflix’s upcoming “Gypsy,” but some casting news has come in for the “psychological thriller” so we thought we’d pass it on while we determine how Dread-worthy the show might be.

From the Press Release:
Fast rising British actress Sophie Cookson (Ashes in the Snow) has been cast as Sidney in Netflix’s “Gypsy.”

Cookson, one of Screen International’s 2014 “Stars of Tomorrow,” will star opposite lead Naomi Watts, who plays therapist Jean Holloway, in the psychological thriller from Working Title and Universal Television.

Cookson made her feature film debut in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service and will reprise the character of Roxy in the second installment, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, in June 2017.

Written by Lisa Rubin, the first two episodes of the ten-part drama will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey). Production starts in New York at the end of the month, and the series will premiere in 2017.
