Platinum Dunes’ The Amityville Horror Hitting Blu-ray

You know, as much as I dislike saying this, other than Amityville II: The Possession, the Platinum Dunes version of The Amityville Horror is probably the second best film in the franchise. Although for most part the franchise itself pretty much sucked to begin with so I guess in retrospect that’s really not saying very much.

Either way MGM will be releasing that ridiculously short film that sees Ryan Reynolds go from family man to batshit nuts in a nano-second to Blu-ray on September 14th. The package will include both a Blu disc and a DVD.

No artwork has been released yet, nor have any special features been announced, but we’d expect everything that came with the DVD release to be ported over.
