Stranger Things Cast Invades The Tonight Show; First Season 2 Character Info

Several “Stranger Things” cast members visited “The Tonight Show” on NBC last night, chatting with Jimmy Fallon, playing games, rapping Nicki Minaj, and even sharing a “deleted scene” from Season 1 in which Barb comes back from the Upside Down to confront Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Eleven about leaving her there.
We have the video highlights below, but first, TVLine provided a bit of intel on what’s to come in Season 2…
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer are introducing three major new characters, one of whom, “Max,” is a “tough and confident” 12- to 14-year-old female whose “appearance, behavior, and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era,” including using a skateboard to get around.
The other two new regulars include Max’s “very muscular and hyper-confident” Camaro-driving older brother, Billy, and the thirtysomething gender-neutral role of “Roman.” The latter character suffered a great loss at an early age and has been seeking revenge ever since.
As for Eleven, her involvement in Season 2 remains “up in the air.”
The nine-episode Season 2 arrives in 2017 and will be set in the fall of 1984.
