San Diego Comic-Con 2010: The Sights, the Sounds, the Thank Yous
While we are still busy filtering through all of the news that came out of the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con, we figured that we would take a moment to let you guys know that our official photo gallery for the event has opened and we have put together a quick video montage from the big dance that is brimming with faces you should find very familiar.
Every year Comic-Con is a beast of a project to keep you guys informed and up-to-date on, and in most cases it requires a small army to do it justice. At this point I’d like to acknowledge the Dread Central soldiers who made it all happen.
Thanks to Paul Nomad, who worked tirelessly to make sure we didn’t miss a thing. Thanks to DC co-founders Jon Condit and KW Low, who worked their fingers to the bone running all over the place. Thanks to Heather Wixson and Brian “Dreads” Smith for all of the lunacy that you soldiered through with a camera strapped to your friggin’ shoulder. Huge thanks to Andrew Kasch, Buz “Danger” Wallick, Debi Moore, Annette Slomka, Josh Teitz, and Crix Lee for always being where you needed to be and getting the news in as quickly as possible, and an extra special thanks to Matt Serafini, who gave up his weekend to help us out updating from home. You’re all invaluable to me and the reason why Dread Central is what it is today.
While at the show we also threw, from what we’ve been told, one of the better Comic-Con parties with Magnet Releasing/Magnolia Pictures! Big thanks to Arianne Ayers, Brandon Nichols, Chang Tseng of Dry County Films, everyone who showed up to support us, and the sexy badasses over at Wicked Pictures for their contributions in making everything happen!
And most of all … thanks to you guys, the readers, who always make sure we’re on point! I hope that you dug what we’ve brought to the table thus far. We love you!
