The Vampire Diaries: Courtney Ford Joining in Possible Recurring Role; Comic-Con Interview Footage
Anyone who watched “Dexter” Season Four knows how memorable Courtney Ford can make the characters that she portrays so it should be interesting to see what she does with “Vanessa”, a potentially recurring role she’s landed on Season Two of “The Vampire Diaries”.
According to The Ausiello Files on CW.com, Ford’s Vanessa is a grad student at Duke who helps Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Alaric (Matt Davis), and Elena (Nina Dobrev) go through Isobel (Mia Kirshner)’s old research.
At Comic-Con last month Kevin Williamson hinted that the character may be harboring a secret or two. “She’s not without her own intrigue,” he told Ausiello. “It’ll be a nice little part for someone. And it’s a part that could evolve into this massive storyline, or we could gut her like a fish.”
Speaking of Comic-Con, here’s a video from the show provided to us by The CW in which executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec give some hints at to what’s in store for Mystic Falls in the sophomore season of “The Vampire Diaries”.
Watch the season premiere on Thursday, September 9th, and for more visit the official “The Vampire Diaries” website.
