See an Image Gallery Full of The Devil’s Dolls
Today IFC Midnight hit us off with an image gallery for director Padraig Reynolds’ upcoming supernatural feature The Devil’s Dolls (previously titled Worry Dolls), which will be released on Friday, September 16, 2016, in select theaters and on VOD and digital platforms.
The film’s cast and crew will be at the film’s opening night at Hollywood’s Arena Cinema for a Q&A on September 16th.
Directed by Reynolds and written by Christopher Wiehl and Danny Kolker, the film stars Wiehl, Kym Jackson, Tina Lifford, Samantha Smith, and Kennedy Brice. Holly Amber Church provides the score, and cinematography is by Adam Sampson.
Synopsis:
A serial killer’s curse unleashes a season of slaughter in the backwoods of Mississippi. According to an ancient Guatemalan tradition, parents teach their children to allay their troubles by telling them to handmake “worry dolls” just before bedtime. But when several of these talismans—which once belonged to a notorious mass murderer—find their way into the hands of unsuspecting residents of a small Southern town, it sets off a grisly wave of bloodshed. The latest from Rites of Spring director Padraig Reynolds is a voodoo-slasher shocker bursting with scarily inventive kills.
