New Spanish Horror Flick Callejon Is Right Up Your Blind Alley

Spanish screenwriter Antonio Trashorras is getting set to make his feature film debut with Callejon, or Blind Alley for you gringos out there.
According to Variety Spain-based Cuban actress Ana de Armas (pictured below; The Boarding School; Sex, Party and Lies) will take the lead role, playing a young woman, Rosa, who while trapped in a laundry during a long and hellish night attempts to escape from a serial murderer.
Trashorras co-wrote the script of Guillermo del Toro’s chiller The Devil’s Backbone so he’s definitely no stranger to the genre. The Spanish-language flick is set to roll in early 2011 in Spain.
Callejon has been described as “an action thriller that finishes up as a horror film with a twist,” and is said to be in the same vein as Gallic horror standouts High Tension and Them. More as it comes.
