Shriekfest 2016 Announces Second Wave of Films!

The Shriekfest Film Festival, one of the premier international horror/sci-fi film and screenplay competitions, has announced the second portion of its 2016 feature film lineup; and we have the skinny on what to expect right here!
Founded in July 2001 by Denise Gossett, Shriekfest is now in its “Sweet 16th” year and shows no signs of slowing down at all! The Shriekfest Film Festival runs October 6-9, 2016. An opening night party will take place at Club Sinister in Hollywood; the rest of the festival will be at the iconic Raleigh Studios on Melrose Blvd.

Paramedics (WORLD PREMIERE)
Written & directed by Rodney Wilson.
Two brothers posing as paramedics kidnap their victims & harvest their organs. That is until they kidnap a very special woman. Starring Joe Bocian (Vampire Sheriff, The Lake), Brian Landis Folkins (Hoax), & Jenice Marshall (C.S.I Miami, Rock Paper Dead).

A small town strip club owner must defend her bar, her strippers, and her life when violent infected patrons show up on her closing night. Starring Wren Walker (Man from Nowhere, Chord), Caz Odin Darko (Killer Bash, Wind Chill, Evil Exhumed), & Madison J. Loos (Home for the Holidays, The Tooth Fairy).
I Had a Bloody Good Time at House Harker (N. AMERICA PREMIERE)
Directed by Clayton Cogswell, written by Neol Carroll.
It’s been generations since the Harker’s great-great grandfather killed Count Dracula. Now the Harker brothers and their best friend Ned are a town joke-until a real vampire turns up. Starring Derek Haugen (Zombiewood Pines, Redemption), Whitney Moore (Birdemic: Shock and Terror), Jacob Givens (Zombiewood Pines, Good Cops), Noel Carroll (Good Cops, Tumbleweed), & Arlan Godthaab (Operation Terror, Hamlet’s Ghost).
The festival will also showcase 42 outstanding and diverse international short films, covering just about every aspect of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy.
