Tokyo Game Show 2016: Humanity Rises Up to Oppose Its Fate in Earth Defense Force 5 Announcement Trailer
With the Tokyo Game Show kicking off, Sony announced at its press conference that Earth Defense Force 5 will be heading to PS4 next year. This announcement was accompanied by a trailer, and lo and behold, it looks like a classic return to the simplistic “soldiers vs. giant bugs” formula that we’ve come to love from the series.
And there’s even a giant frog this time.
The Earth Defense Force games are usually made with notoriously low production values and are not exactly Game of the Year material, but like the classic B-movies that they so clearly try to emulate, that’s exactly what we love about them.
