Marc-André Grondin Develops a Ravenous Appetite
Not to be confused with the same-named 1999 cannibal flick, director Robin Aubert’s Ravenous (Les Affames) is currently in production over in Quebec, and we’ve got the latest casting news for you today. The film, described as a horror-thriller, will star Marc-André Grondin in the lead role.
Per Variety, the cast also includes Monia Chokri, Micheline Lanctôt and Brigitte Poupart. Penned by Aubert, Ravenous follows a group of rural villagers as they try to escape their family and friends, who have turned into flesh-eating predators.
Alma Cinema is handling international sales at the Toronto Film Festival.
Ravenous is produced by Stéphanie Morissette’s La Maison De Prod.
