Join Us in the Den of Dread on Twitch Every Tuesday
Here at Dread Central we always strive to not only bring you the latest news, reviews, and horror scuttlebutt but to also engage with the horror community. We’re all nerds here and over the years have evolved to expanding our coverage into novels, anime/manga, radio shows/podcasts (Hey, Brainwaves and Who Goes There?!), and of course, video games!
As much as we love toiling away for little praise and even less pay, it can take hours of play time to review even the most basic of indie games. If you’ve ever wondered what that might look like, now’s your chance!
We’ve been mulling over the possibility of sharing some gaming time with you all, and with the premiere of our Twitch channel, we plan to do just that. Every week Dread Central’s own Ted “Video Game Guy” Hentschke will be streaming video games for everyone to join in the experience. Sometimes he’ll go it alone; other times we’ll bring in some fellow nerds to geek out with everyone.
Every Tuesday we’ll be streaming directly from the Dread Central Den of Video Game Awesomeness (i.e., the basement in which Ted resides). The inaugural stream will be this upcoming Tuesday, September 20th, at 8 p.m. PT. Ted will be playing Half Dead with fellow Dread Central video game geek April Marie.
Take this chance to follow our Twitch channel in preparation for the fun! We’ll also be posting an article before our stream each week as a reminder for everyone. Hopefully we’ll see a bunch of you there!
