Tucker & Dale vs. Evil Director Developing Little Evil for Netflix; Casting News
One of the best horror-comedies to come along in recent years was Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, which was both written and directed by Eli Craig. In the wake of directing the pilot episode for Amazon’s failed series “Zombieland,” Craig is now working with Netflix on a brand new horror-comedy, and we’ve got the first details.
THR reports that Adam Scott and Evangeline Lilly will star in Netflix’s Little Evil, an original feature being written and directed by Craig. The film follows Gary (Scott), who just married Samantha (Lilly) only to find out that her 6-year-old son is the Antichrist.
The cast also includes Donald Faison, Chris D’Elia, Brad Williams, Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, Marcus Terrell Smith and Tyler Labine. Owen Atlas will be playing the adolescent Antichrist.
Bluegrass Films and Mandalay Pictures will produce the project, with Scott Stuber, Jason Michael Berman and Dylan Clark producing and Nicholas Nesbitt and Mark Moran acting as executive producers.
Little Evil will hit the streaming service sometime in 2017.
