Poster and First Details for Cody Snider’s All That Remains
Cody Blue Snider, who’s considered an auteur for “Generation Naught” due to his hands-on approach to all aspects of production, dropped us a line today with the poster art and some early details on his new short film “All That Remains”. He’s in the process of cutting a trailer now so keep your eyes peeled for that soon as well.
Cody (yes, he’s Dee’s son) directed, edited, produced, and wrote “All That Remains”, which is based on a comic his brother, Jesse, created. He provided us with the following list of cast and crew: James Murphy, Kyle Klaus, and Nicolette Pierini star with Mick Foley playing a small role in the film. Dee Snider executive produced and plays the supporting role of Death. Jesse Snider associate produced, and Suzette Snider did hair, makeup, and wardrobe. Synopsis:
“All That Remains” tells the powerfully disturbing story of a WWII veteran with dementia, endlessly suffering in a confused world of the past, present and a lifetime of painful losses with Death as his only companion. When salvation presents itself in the form of a compassionate hospital nurse, a glimmer of hope is rekindled in the joyless old man’s heart. It all comes crashing down when the old man becomes convinced that Death intends to take this simple joy away from him as well. To end his misery, he strikes a deal with Death to wipe out a gang of mobsters, only to find Death has no master … and his own salvation.
As for a bit of background on Cody, he worked with Adam Green on Frozen as the director’s assistant and has continued working with Green and Ariescope Pictures on all of their films to date, including the upcoming Hatchet II. Snider is currently producing the feature film Strangeland 2: Disciple with Nest Pictures and his production company, STT Productions, and is also writing his first feature film while continuing to direct and edit sketches, music videos, and short films. The season finale of his family’s reality TV show “Growing Up Twisted” (which airs Tuesdays on A&E) covers the last week of post and the New York premiere of “All That Remains”.
