The end of “Bates Motel” is heading our way soon, but already Season 5 is shaping up to be pretty epic as the series begins telling the Psycho tale we all know and love.  Who might be a part of said tale?  Well, along with the previously announced Rihanna as Marion Crane, word has come via TVLine that Isabelle McNally (“House of Cards,” Frances Ha) is set to recur during the upcoming season as Madeleine Loomis.

Madeleine is a warm and kindhearted woman who, as you’ll note from the photo below, bears a striking resemblance to a young Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga). It’s not clear exactly how Madeleine will figure into Season 5, but her last name is significant since in the original film Marion’s boyfriend was named Sam Loomis.

As for what else you can expect during Season 5, as reported previously, Max Thieriot (Dylan) will make his directorial debut, and Nestor Carbonell (Sheriff Romero) will direct for a third time. Additionally, Freddie Highmore (Norman) will write his second episode alongside executive producers Kerry Ehrin and Carlton Cuse.

“Bates Motel” will return for its final season on A&E in 2017. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming months!
