Tony Todd Returns to Play The Reaper in Final Destination 5
Some interesting news coming out of the UK’s Film4 Fright Fest – it looks as if one of the many sins that came out of The Final Destination is about to be atoned for!
That’s right, kids! Our man Gareth Jones wrote in from the show to let us know that during the Hatchet II Q&A Tony Todd revealed that he will indeed be reprising his role as the Reaper in Final Destination 5! YAY for filmmakers doing something right! Todd will be joining the already announced Nicholas D’Agosto, Ellen Wroe, Meghan Ory, David Koechner, Miles Fisher and Arlen Escarpeta in this upcoming 3D sequel.
Steven Quale (the second unit director for Avatar) will be working from a script by horror’s busiest scribe Eric Heisserer (A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Thing). Craig Perry is once again back as producer, and the project is on schedule for its September 13th start date in Vancouver.
Look for 5nal Destination 3D to be in theatres on August 26th, 2011.
