UK Release Brings Out The Evil in Us

In his review out of FrightFest earlier this month, our own Gareth Jones called Jason William Lee’s The Evil in Us (review) a “rabid cross of Cabin Fever and 28 Days Later,” and if that sounds like your cup of tea, and you happen to live in the UK, you’ll be able to check it out for yourself real soon.

Via StudioCanal, The Evil in Us arrives on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital on October 10th.

Synopsis:
Six school friends meet up for a drug-fueled Fourth of July weekend on a remote island. What they don’t know is the drug they scored is not what it seems; it’s actually a new bioactive compound peddled by a sadistic right-wing terrorist organization.

Anyone consuming it is then exposed to a virus causing fits of psychotic rage, mind-bending chaos and cannibalistic murder. Only one refused to partake and now she must fight to survive as everyone around her, including her fiancé, tries to savagely kill her.
