Kickstarter Campaign Launches for Sequel to 100 Tears
In 2007, Marcus Koch’s 100 Tears unleashed some of the finest splatter mayhem you’re ever likely to see on the world, and in the process, created one of most memorable psychotic clowns in cinema history in the form of Gurdy.
Ever since fan’s of the movie have been begging for a sequel, and now a Kickstarter campaign has launched to make that happen.
The new film will see Koch hand over directorial duties to Joe Davison (Frost Bite), who produced the 100 Tears and also starred in it. But fear not splatter fans, Koch will still be involved doing what he does best and that’s creating SFX which will be front and centre when the carnage unfolds.
They want to bring Gurdy back and make him meaner than ever before, and they only need $30,000 to make it happen. Given that the first movie is one of the most fun and mean spirited things you’re ever likely to see, this is an exciting prospect indeed. So if you’re a fan of movies with massive kill counts, dismembered body parts and homicidal clowns, this might be up your alley.
