#NYCC16: Teen Wolf Video Debuts First 8 Minutes of Season 6; Tyler Hoechlin’s Return a Possibility

“Teen Wolf” held its final New York Comic panel this weekend and showed off the entire first act of the Season 6 premiere episode.  Of course you can watch it right here! But first… we have a few tidbits from the panel courtesy of Deadline:

The finale of the split arc 20-episode final season will be the show’s 100th episode, airing in 2017; and “certain characters may find their end,” exec producer Jeff Davis told the crowd. He also confirmed that Ian Bohen will be back as Peter Hale and teased that another Hale, Derek, portrayed by Tyler Hoechlin (who is now playing Superman on The CW’s “Supergirl”) could return as well.

“You wouldn’t believe the number of crazy ideas we’ve talked about in the writers’ room,” Davis enthused when taking about bringing more past characters and actors back. “It’s really hard to do a series finale,” he said, wondering aloud if it was a good idea to fill it with cameos. “We [still] have several unwritten episodes so we’ll see.”

At one time an Eichen House spinoff was being considered, “with Doctor Deaton (Seth Gilliam) as the head of the facility, gathering a supernatural team,” according to Davis.  Now that’s an idea we’d support… MTV, are you listening?

The final season of “Teen Wolf” premieres Tuesday, November 15th, at 9/8c.
