Screamfest LA Announces Its First Wave of Competitive Films
One of the best damned horror film festivals you could ever attend is without question LA’s Screamfest Horror Film Festival, and the good folks behind it just announced the first wave of films for this year’s event!

“Screamfest Horror Film Festival is pleased to announce its first wave of competitive films. ALTITUDE, the directorial debut for Marvel Comics artist Kara Andrews (“Hulk,” “Wolverine”) starring Jessica Lowndes; two Australian flicks, James Rabbit’s THE CLINIC and John V. Soto’s supernatural thriller NEEDLE (see first still below); Frank Lin’s HYSTERIA; Adam Gierasch’s NIGHT OF THE DEMONS; Jourdan McClure’s ROGUE RIVER; and Jesse Holland and Andy Milton’s YELLOWBRICKROAD.
The next wave of competitive films and special screenings will be announced next week.
The 10th annual festival will be held October 8th-17th at the Mann Chinese Theaters in Hollywood, California.
