The Vampire Diaires Casting News: Natashia Williams Heading to Mystic Falls

The Vampire DiariesActress and former Wonderbra campaign model Natashia Williams will be joining the cast of “The Vampire Diaries” a little later this season, and we’ve got a few details on what she’ll be doing on the show.

Natashia also appeared on the seventh season of “American Idol”; she made it through the Hollywood round to the top 50 but got cut just before the Top 24 were selected.

According to The Ausiello Files on EW.com, Williams has landed the role of Lucy, a mysterious hipster who possesses a fun swagger. Spoilersguide.com takes things a bit further by stating that “Lucy” is a sexy, hard core vampire [who] is going to take Elena, but only to entice another uber-powerful vamp named Phillipe. Elena is exactly what Phillipe has been wanting, and Lucy wastes no time letting him know she has his prize. During Elena’s captivity she learns some unnerving truths:

* Lucy isn’t going to kill Elena; someone else is/or at least planning to.
* Stefan, her soul-mate, used to be a ripper.
* A ripper is a vampire with no self control, that just rips you apart and feeds.

Velly interesting … but we’re taking a wait and see approach as to how accurate of a spoiler that really is.
