Train to Busan made its debut in May at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. No one expected how infectious its impact would be on the global stage. The terrifying zombie horror film follows a group of passengers fighting their way through a countrywide viral outbreak as they’re trapped in a blood-drenched bullet train ride to Busan.
Written and directed by Sang-ho Yeon, the film stars Yoo Gong and Dong-seok Ma.
Synopsis:
As an unidentified virus sweeps the country, the Korean government declares martial law. Those on an express train to Busan, a city that has successfully fended off the viral outbreak, must fight for their own survival.
