The horror-themed card game The Orphanage is about to be adapted into a series of video games, which you can read about below.

From the Press Release:
Spooky Stage, LLC announced today that the Los Angeles-based game developer is partnering with online trading card company NeonMob to adapt their popular card set “The Orphanage” into a series of video games for PC, mobile, and consoles.

The Orphanage was originally released by NeonMob as a 100-card set, created by illustrator Vaughn Pinpin. It tells the story of deadly specter Elsabeth Grinn, who after losing her child Atticus, converts her home into an orphanage for ‘peculiar and unwanted’ children. But there are darker motivations behind Elsabeth’s kindness…

The Orphanage video game series is a blend of visual novel and adventure game genres. As the newest orphan in Grinn’s home, players will explore the property, interact with the other children, make friends and enemies, and search for special items to advance the plot and ultimately defeat Elsabeth. The game features multiple endings, dozens of branching story paths, hidden secrets, and full VO for all characters.

Valencia-based studio Mint Potion will provide original music, sound effects, and VO recording for the game.

The Orphanage is a four-part game series, with the first game set to debut in early 2017 on all platforms. For more information, screenshots, or to set up an interview about this game, please contact info@spookystage.com.
