Swiss Army Man and The Witch Cast a Spell on the 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards

The nominees for the 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards were announced today, and while horror didn’t have a super strong showing, there are a few bright spots that are worth mentioning, including multiple nominations for The Witch and Swiss Army Man, two of our favorite films from this year.

Also appearing on the list of nominees (see the full announcement here) are genre films The Eyes of My Mother and Under the Shadow.
