John Skipp Talks Number One, The Light At The End, and Rose
We’re always excited when splatterpunk badass John Skipp comes out to play! And it looks like the man has been reeeeaaaally busy of late.
In a series of new YouTube interviews, Skipp mentions that he and co-author Cody Goodfellow are currently writing a mental-asylum-set horror feature called Number One for one of our own – director Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy).
“It takes place in a haunted mental ward and involves a massacre that most likely has extremely unpleasant supernatural causes and the first response team that goes in there to find out what sort of hell has broken loose,” says Skipp.
Skipp also talks more about his puppet zombie movie Rose (which we first told you about here), the Halloween re-release of his vampire classic The Light at the End, upcoming anthologies, his career in splatterpunk and zombie fiction, and a helluva lot more. It’s a fascinating series of interviews with a lot of great tidbits so be sure to check ’em out here!
