Cult Classic The Brain That Wouldn’t Die Getting a Remake
Despite being in the public domain, it’s taken fifty-four years for the cult classic The Brain That Wouldn’t Die to get a remake… unlike that other public domain horror film which seems to get a new remake, sequel, reboot, etc., every ten minutes. It’s something to do with zombies attacking a farmhouse in Pennsylvania or something.
Anyway, the remake of The Brain That Wouldn’t Die (official website) once again follows Dr. Bill Cortner (here played by Patrick Green) as he tries to keep alive the head of his recently decapitated girlfriend. Robert Blanche, Rachael Perrell Fosket, Jason Reynolds, Mia Allen, and Kristen Mortensen also star.
It’s directed by Derek Carl and, according to IMDb, will be released on 1 April 2018. Although IMDb’s often unreliable about these things, so let’s wait and see.
