Release Date-a-Polooza! The Dark Tower, Drive Angry, and Ouija!
With the year rapidly coming to an end (man, 2010 flew), two studios, Universal and Summit Entertainment, are busy firming up their film slates for next year and beyond. Get out your calendars, folks! Time to cross off a few dates!
First out of the gate will be Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer’s Drive Angry 3D, which will be crashing into theatres a couple of weeks later than previously scheduled on February 25th, 2011. From there the Platinum Dunes produced feature for Universal, Ouija, will be pointing to a release date of November 9th, 2012. And then we’ll finally see Ron Howard’s long anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, which will serve to kick off the summer of 2013 on May 17th. That is, if the world doesn’t end in 2012 as predicted by those pesky Mayans.
Look for more on all three of these titles really soon.
