Street Trash Screening this Saturday, November 6th, in New Jersey

New ghouls on the block, Crystal Plumage Films, are screening a 35mm print of cult classic Street Trash on Saturday, November 6th in Metuchen, NJ. Not only is this print a personal copy of the film’s writer/producer, Roy Frumkes, but he’ll also be attending the event as a co-host and then signing autographs after the Q&A.

In keeping with Crystal Plumage Films’ DIY horror stylings, they have tasked a local artist to create limited hand-numbered silk-screened posters, which will be available for sale at the event (see it below). But wait, there’s more: For those lucky kids that show up, there will be a raffle with many possible splendid prizes: Street Trash t-shirts as well as Street Trash and Document of the Dead DVDs. Free things, my monster kids! That alone should motivate the tri-state horror crowd to come to Central Jersey this weekend. Hell I’ll even drive you.

And keep your severed ear to the ground about Crystal Plumage Films. They plan on holding screenings about three times a year (the next event is scheduled, tentatively, for April 2011) with actual prints and famous co-hosts in tow.

Here are the details for this weekend’s screening:

November 6, 2010 – 9:00 PM showtime (doors open @ 8:30 PM)
Forum Theatre Arts Center, 314 Main Street, Metuchen, NJ – 732.548.5600
$15 – Pre-order tickets (until Nov 5, 2006) here.
