Fans of Takashi Shimizu in the UK will be getting themselves a home video treat in the form of his new flick The Shock Labyrinth coming home with the 3D effect intact. Of course it’ll probably look like crap as most releases like that do, but damnit, at least they’re trying!

According to DVD Active Chelsea Films has announced a 31 January 2011 release for The Shock Labyrinth, priced at around £14.99. The disc will include both the 2D and 3D versions of the film along with two pairs of 3D glasses. Sorry, hi-def junkies; no Blu-ray this time around.

The horror-thriller follows a group of teenagers dealing with the sudden return of a friend who went missing a decade ago. When the friend falls ill, they take her to a hospital but end up trapped in a labyrinthine haunted house. Dig on the artwork and pre-order your copy from the UK EvilShop below.
