Zombie Comedy Web Series Bite Me Premieres
The folks behind the animated web series “Xombie” (Epic Level Entertainment) have a new live-action zombie comedy series called “Bite Me”, and the first two episodes have debuted online. Of course we have them for you here to check out!
From the Press Release:
“Bite Me” is Epic Level Entertainment‘s attempt to highlight gamers as heroes. We’ve started with a five-episode arc, the first two of which have debuted on Machinima.com’s YouTube channel.
The story is about three die hard gamers who find themselves in the midst of a real life zombie outbreak. Faced with life-or-death situations, they have to drop their controllers and pick up anything they can use as weapons. It’s now up to these video game experts to defend the world against the zombie apocalypse, relying only on the knowledge and skills learned through years of gaming.
Epic produced the show in conjunction with Machinima.com, the premiere interactive video entertainment network for gamers. With over 40 million unique monthly visitors on YouTube, Machinima.com is a dominant force in the world of gaming, providing the best in gameplay, news, official gaming videos, and original content. Through its partnership with Capcom, Machinima.com was able to integrate the video game “Dead Rising 2” into the story, establishing the characters as habitual gamers and zombie experts. YouTube also helped bring the project to life by providing Machinima.com with financing through its Grant Partner Program, allowing us to produce a premium live-action series that we believe will speak to both gamers and the broader audience as well.
Check out the first two eps below, and look for more soon!
