Dane DeHaan and Rebecca Wisocky Joining True Blood’s Season Four
One of the bright spots of the just completed third season of HBO’s In Treatment was without a doubt up-and-coming young actor Dane DeHaan. Apparently I’m not the only one who felt that way as he’s just been added to the network’s vampire drama “True Blood” as a recurring character. In addition, Rebecca Wisocky has been cast for a key guest spot in the fourth season premiere.
According to Deadline Hollywood DeHaan (pictured right) will play Timbo, one of the teens Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) takes care of in Hotshot while Wisocky (“90210”) will play Queen Mab, described as an elegant beauty who presides over a fantasy land and also has a temper.
Despite feeling that “True Blood” Season Three lost its way a bit with all the extraneous characters that were added, we couldn’t be more pleased with the addition of DeHaan for Season Four. Trust us; this kid is one to watch!
Look for more “True Blood” news over the coming weeks as filming recently commenced for Season Four, which is scheduled to debut in the summer of 2011.
