King Kong Will Appear In The Lego Batman Movie

It turns out we don’t have to wait until the March 10, 2017, release of Kong: Skull Island to see the big ape on the big screen, because he’s going to be stomping his way into The Lego Batman Movie.

As revealed in an interview conducted by Flickering Myth with director Chris McKay and producer Dan Lin, King Kong will appear alongside a bunch of other iconic non-DC villains including Voldemort and Sauron.

So far, there aren’t any pictures of the brick version of cinema’s most famous ape as he’ll appear in the film, but we don’t have long to wait as The Lego Batman Movie hits theaters on February 10. I never thought I’d see the day when Batman and King Kong shared the screen, so this is going to be something for the history books.
