Deleted Ghostbusters Scenes Found!
As part of the weekly social media phenom known as Throwback Thursday, or TBT for short, the Ghost Corps Facebook page, the division of Columbia headed by Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd, posted the following image and news!
“These reels came from a box in Ivan’s personal storage and we’re pretty excited to have uncovered some unreleased scenes!”
Included in the find is a reel labeled “Fort Detmerring,” a scene Ghostbusters super fiends have been wanting to see forever. The scene features Ray Stantz (Aykroyd) dressed in period attire getting frisky with a ghost. Moments from this scene have been glimpsed in a previously released montage, but no one outside of the principals have ever seen the whole enchilada.
