13 Reasons Why Dares to Investigate a Mysterious Suicide

Hot off the heels of their fantastic trailer for “Dark”, Netflix has released a trailer for yet another upcoming mystery series, this one titled “13 Reasons Why”. Based off the book series by Jay Asher, the show follows a teenage boy who investigates the tragic suicide of a classmate he had a crush on.

“13 Reasons Why” stars Dylan Minnette, who starred in two very different kinds of horror films in the past two years, the first being Goosebumps and the second being Don’t Breathe. If he keeps going at the genre at this rate, I have a feeling that Minnette will become an iconic star in the horror world. He’s already shown his incredibly solid and believable acting abilities, so now it just remains to see if he loves the genre as much as we love him (so far)!

Synopsis:
13 Reasons Why follows Clay Jensen as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Will Clay be one of them?
