Invada Records Announces Stranger Things Vinyl Boxset
Invada Records has announced that they will be putting together a boxset of their “Stranger Things” vinyl soundtracks, which will receive a timed release on July 14th, 2017.
Composed by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein (of Austin-based electronic group S U R V I V E), the music of “Stranger Things” has become as popular as the show itself, thanks in part to its nostalgic throwback to soundtracks of the 80’s. However, I would be remiss if I were to say that was the entire reason for its success. Truth be told, it’s just damn good music that fit the show perfectly.
If you haven’t gotten a soundtrack from Invada before, I can’t recommend them enough. The amount of effort and work they put into every release is astonishing and it shows in the end result. For example, they put out the soundtracks for Brian Reitzell’s “Hannibal” and they’re pretty much a standout gem in my collection.
