Here’s some news that will have everyone under the red, white, and blue flag turning green with envy. A true horror classic is about to hit Blu-ray high definition across the pond, while we sit back and stare at our crusty old DVD edition. Yay.

According to DVD Active the 1973 Nicolas Roeg directed classic Don’t Look Now starring Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie will be hitting Blu-ray some time in April. No further details have been announced, but who cares? Look for more ASAP!

The film tells the tale of what happens when an American architect living in Venice, Italy, with his wife on a getaway after the death of their young daughter begins to question his sanity when he begins having a series of disturbing and fragmented premonitions which coincide with a series of murders taking place in the city.

Dig on the artwork and the trailer below. Then wipe your drool away and hope Paramount gives it to us here.
