The Surge Receiving PS4 Pro Support; Gets Hardcore Box Art
Focus Home Interactive are continuing down their path to becoming a huge AAA publisher, with their latest major release, The Surge, now having gone gold. The brutal sci-fi adventure, which has been likened to a futuristic version of Dark Souls, will also be receiving PS4 Pro support when hits stores next month. We’ll be seeing all the visceral finishing moves in extra crisp detail. The first PS4 Pro update will be available for free when the game launches.
Focus have also unveiled the box art for The Surge, and I don’t think anything screams ‘brutal sci-fi’ like a muscular guy in an exosuit wielding a chainsaw. There’s also an awesome dismemberment at 0:19 in the first trailer below.
Developed by Deck13 Interactive, The Surge will hammer its way onto PS4, Xbox One and Steam on May 16.
