A few days ago, we posted the lineup or the inaugural Overlook Film Festival, which will take place at the Timberline Lodge in Mt. Hood, Oregon. Today, it’s been announced that their opening film will be Stephanie, the latest film from Blumhouse.

Written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski and directed by Akiva Goldsman, Stephanie stars Frank Grillo, Anna Torv, and Shree Crooks. After the screening, Goldsman and Jason Blum will be present for a Q&A after which they will present a special screening of Paranormal Activity, the film that helped launch Blumhouse’s success.

The Overlook Film Festival will run April 27th-30th and ticket information can be found right here.

Synopsis:
In the not too distant future, after a global crisis, Stephanie is left alone in her remote home, while a dark supernatural force looms in the background. When her mother and father return to claim her, the malevolent power spins out of control with Stephanie at the center.
