Stephen King to Cameo in Audience’s Mr. Mercedes TV Adaptation
While we’re waiting for news about David E. Kelley’s TV adaptation of the Stephen King novel Mr. Mercedes, Stephen King decided to take to Twitter to reveal that he’s apparently seen at least some of it, if not all. Praising it by calling it, “…really good“, the writer also reveals that eagle-eyed viewers will be able to spot a cameo of him in the series!
The show stars Brendan Gleeson, Harry Treadaway, Jharrel Jerome, Mary-Louise Parker, Justine Lupe, Scott Lawrence, Kelly Lynch, Ann Cusack, Robert Stanton, Holland Taylor, and Breeda Wool.
Kelley is writing the adaptation of Mr. Mercedes and will serve as showrunner on the Sonar Entertainment-produced series. Jack Bender (“Game of Thrones”) is set to direct, and the two will exec produce with Temple Hill Entertainment’s Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey.
The MR. MERCEDES series is really good. And if you watch closely, you just might see yours truly.
