Indie Horror Month – Two Tasty New Stills from Rafael De Leon’s Short Film Waffle
While waffles are indeed a tasty dish, it seems that writer/director Rafael De Leon Jr. has cooked up something that skewers a little more disturbing than delicious with his new short film Waffle based on these two brand new stills just released.
Waffle is set to make its SXSW debut next week as part of the festival’s Midnight Shorts program and screens for audiences on March 11th at the Alamo Ritz at 11:30pm, March 13th at the Alamo Lamar at 11:15pm and finally on March 19th once again at the Ritz at 11:30pm.
All the screening information can be found on Waffle‘s Festival Page, and for more information on De Leon’s short, you can either check out the official Waffle website or head on over to the Waffle Facebook page and show some love there by giving it a “Like.”
Synopsis:
A disfigured science fair champion (Andrea Shannon Young) invites her new friend (Kerri Ford) over for dinner, but by the time dessert arrives, the two schoolmates will discover each other’s true, unpleasant natures.
