Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero Joins Injustice 2

Injustice 2 is the game that keeps on giving. In addition to an incredible roster of fighters including Batman, Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing, Scarecrow (voiced by Robert Englund) and the Joker, we now have confirmation that none other than Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero will appear. This isn’t too much of a surprise, as the game’s being developed by Mortal Kombat’s NetherRealm Studios, with the series’ creator Ed Boon directing.

Sub-Zero will be featured in the game’s first downloadable content pack alongside Starfire and the Red Hood. We last saw the ice ninja facing off against DC heroes in the fantastic Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe back in 2008, so fans will soon be feeling nostalgic. He probably won’t be the only non-DC fighter in the game, as we also pretty much know at this point that Spawn will also appear in Injustice 2 (it’s been one of the worst kept secrets in history).

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will publish Injustice 2 on Xbox One and PS4 on May 16.

Injustice 2 – Fighter Pack 1 Revealed!
The first three DLC characters for Injustice 2 revealed! Batman’s second protégé, Red Hood, royal exile from Tamaran, Starfire, and the leader of the Lin Kuei, Sub-Zero join the fight.

Get these three characters included in Fighter Pack 1 and 6 more DLC fighters with the Ultimate Edition.
