DVD and Blu-ray Releases: May 16, 2017
We’ve got a good amount of classic titles this week, with a fairly decent amount of newer releases as well. Since everything is coming out on time with no weird dates listed, we also have zero discrepancies to talk about this week.
Zombie fans can rejoice in the release of Breakdown Lane on DVD. You can check out the red band trailer here.
Also, along the zombie motif, we have Resident Evil The Final Chapter, along with Resident Evil: The Complete Collection coming to stores this week on various formats.
This will also be a good week for fans of Dracula. In addition to Dracula Untold getting yet another Blu-ray release, there will also be a Dracula: Complete Legacy Collection releasing on Blu-ray this week as well.
In addition to the Dracula collection mentioned above, this week also sees a Blu-ray release for The Mummy: Complete Legacy Collection. Depending on what you pick up this week, you could have a good couple of binge nights in the depths of the golden age of horror movies.
Among our other classics this week, you can pick up Blu-ray copies of both Ben and Willard, coming at us from the fine folks Shout! Factory. Who hasn’t wanted to train rodents to exact their revenge at some point in their lives? I would do it – I have wanted to anyway.
You can also pick up newer releases of movies that have been out for a while, such as Army Of Darkness, Van Helsing, Dawn Of The Dead and An American Werewolf in London. All of the details regarding those releases are listed below.

A Stranger is Watching (1982)

And lots and lots of martial arts fights.
Spirited Killer 3
We have teams from China and Japan seeking out a black stone that can create immensely powerful magic. There’s some resistance and the local population calls up a shaman who announces he will be a shaman for a thousand years. Yes, he’s evil. So we’re off to more wackiness with wizards, ghosts, zombies, and a few of those female ogres/ghouls. There are a few gut-munching scenes. It all ends up in a magical war.
We Are Going To Eat You
Agent 999 is sent to a rural Chinese village to arrest a bandit called ‘Rolex’, who sports a tattoo of a fist on his chest. Upon arriving, Agent 999 begins to suspect that something is wrong, and it soon transpires that cannibals, addicted to the flesh of strangers, populate the village.
