In 1996, Chris Carter and Fox released “Millennium”, which followed ex-FBI agent Frank Black, played by Lance Henriksen, and his adventures with the Millennium Group. The show, while starting off strong, only lasted three seasons as a result of declining viewership. The cancellation of the series was a painful one for its passionate and dedicated fans, who mourned the loss of the critically acclaimed show.

Not content with letting the series fade away into television history, filmmakers Jason Morris and Troy Foreman have made it their mission to celebrate the film 20 years later with Millennium After the Millennium, a documentary that will interview the cast and crew of the series about the origins of the show, its troubled production history, and the lasting impact it has had over the years.

As Morris and Foreman explain, “We wanted to do something as big as possible. This project was a pure concept of love for the show. We wanted to give something to the fans that have supported the show and the campaign for the return of Millennium.

Millennium After the Millennium is tentatively scheduled for a late 2017 release date.
