Marcus Nispel Directing The Death of Me

Well, this is an interesting bit of news. Marcus Nispel, the director of the Friday the 13th and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remakes, is in pre-production for The Death of Me, a horror/thriller that will focus on a vacationing couple who fall prey to a strange and deadly ritual. The Film Catalogue states that the film will be completed this year, so hopefully we’ll begin seeing some more information towards the end of this year/beginning of next year.

Synopsis:
A couple on a tropical holiday awaken one morning with a hangover and no recollection of what transpired. When playing the video back of their previous night, they learn they participated in a ritual that somehow ended with the husband murdering the wife, though she’s very much alive.
