John Charles Meyer Has an Awakening for The CW

John Charles Meyer More casting news coming in for The CW’s latest slice of undead fun, “Awakening”. Get the details on who else will be dealing with the pesky zombie problem by reading on!

John Charles Meyer (pictured right; “CSI: NY”) will be guest starring on the pilot episode of the new show, starring alongside the previously announced Brian Hallisay (Hostel: Part III), Titus Welliver (“Lost”), Meredith Hagner and Lucy Griffiths.

Awakening centers around two combative sisters (Meredith Hagner and Lucy Griffiths) who come of age amid the beginning of a zombie uprising. Word has it that the series follows thousands of zombies living “normal lives” among the living (also known as the “pre-dead”). The two worlds collide and cause war between the living and the dead.

David Von Ancken (“The Shield”, “The Vampire Diaries”, “Heroes”, “Oz”) will be at the helm of the pilot episode.
