Indie Horror Month: Exclusive New Trailer for Horror of Our Love: A Short Film
Here at Dread Central we love indie horror filmmakers, and quite a few of them love us back. Like Dave Reda, who not only is graciously allowing DC to be home to the online debut of his killer romantic horror comedy short film “Horror of Our Love” next week to close out Indie Horror Month but also edited together an exclusive new trailer in honor of the event!
You can check out the new trailer below along with the original teaser that Dave and the gang at Elftwin Films put together last year for “Horror of Our Love”, but first here’s a bit more info.
“Horror of Our Love” twists the normal love story back until it breaks! Imagine Jason, Freddy, or Michael Myers using everything in their slaughtering, slicing, and dicing arsenal … to impress a girl. Be among the first to laugh out loud, while squirming in your seat, to one of the most unique short films in recent horror history.
It was filmed in San Jose, California, using local crew and actors including Kate Melia as the Girl, Karl Schweitzer, Dan Wilson, Peter Redman, and Reda himself as Melia’s “horrifying” love interest. For a taste of the music utilized in the film, visit the band Ludo’s official site.
Be sure to check back next Wednesday, March 30th, for the online premiere of “Horror of Our Love”. For more in the meantime take a moment to befriend Dave Reda on Facebook, “like” Elftwin Films on Facebook, follow Elftwin Films on Twitter, and hit up the Elftwin Films website, too, while you’re at it.
